Guest Judge on My Kitchen Rules, Australia

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't seen the 7th series of MKR stop reading now.

I've been sworn to secrecy for months now, but can finally reveal some exciting news – I'll be appearing as a guest judge on season seven of the popular Australian television show, My Kitchen Rules (MKR).

It was a bit of a secret mission, and a number of you asked why I was holidaying in Australia last year – well, I was on-set filming six episodes of the show with co-judge Colin Fassnidge.

For those of you who don't know, MKR is a competitive cooking show. Friends, family members, workmates and acquaintances with a shared love of food team-up and take on a number of cooking challenges. One of the most notorious is the 'instant restaurant' round, where teams are required to cook a three course meal for the other contestants. Their food, ambiance, and attention to detail is scrutinised by the judges – including me!

MKR airs on Australia's Channel Seven from Monday-Wednesdays at 7.30pm, and on Sundays at 7pm. I'll be appearing in episodes 13-18, starting from 22 February. All episodes will be available to watch online.

Filming was hectic. We would flit from one side of the country to the next, and back again to film in various locations. But, I loved every minute of it and it allowed me the rare opportunity to peek inside other people's kitchens (trust me, I don't get dinner invites that often!).

I even managed to fit in some fun and recreation, which you may have seen on my Instagram.

Australia is a stunning country, and I had the most amazing time exploring beautiful beaches and landscapes.

Head over to Khoollect for a roundup of the clothes I wore on the show. My lovely MKR stylist helped me to select some great pieces by Australian designers, and I'm excited to share them with you.
