Little details and pattern fever on Khoollect...

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I'm a sucker for a pattern - be it clothes, interiors or the little details you spot when you're out and about. Florals, polka dots, stripes, geometric - I think I've incorporated all of these into my wardrobe or home at some point. So I thought I'd share some of my Editor's picks from Khoollect, which explored decorative design this week.

These tiles captured by Social Media Manager Rhia Chohan remind me of my travels in Malaysia. It was taken in Penang's UNESCO World Heritage Site, George Town - which is a haven for period architectural detail (not to mention the delicious local favourite dish, roti canai).

Meet one of two pattern-crazed artists. Fine Little Day's imperfectly perfect patterns are inspired by life’s little details; nature’s imperfections, wobbly children’s drawings and messy hair.

As part of the Real Kitchens of Khoollect series, the team is letting you have a snoop inside their dining and cooking spaces. This week it's Copy Editor Sonya Gellert's turn. I love the minimalist look, but look closer and you'll find pops of colour and interesting details.

I'll leave you with this designer, who produces carefully crafted homewares using her her own, organic, printed fabrics. They have a mid-century and Scandi-inspired feel. Take a look!

Have you joined the Khoollect forum yet? The team and I are always chatting on there, so come and say hello.
