My snapshots...Konichiwa from Kyoto

No trip to Japan could be complete without a visit to Kyoto, said to be the country's cultural epicentre. It really is a beautiful city (and totally different to Tokyo), with so many beautiful gardens, shrines and temples to explore - we even met a maiko (apprentice geisha). I'm sad to say that my time in Japan has come to an end and I'll soon be back in London. It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks, full of amazing experiences and I'm definitely feeling inspired.

Here are my favourite snapshots of my time in Kyoto, you can catch up with all the rest over on my Instagram (@rachelkhooks).

1. Love the prints on these vintage kimonos.

2. Taking a stroll through Shimogamo shrine.

3. Delicious ramen for breakfast.

Bon weekend!
