A Mindful Moment with Khoollect

A new year brings with it a new season of change — an opportunity to reset, slow down and reassess what each of us would like to focus on during the year ahead.

For many, it’s the perfect opportunity to practise mindfulness. On Thursday 2 February, the Khoollect team invites you to share #AMindfulMoment. Centred on mindful practices, sustainability, minimalism and happiness, Khoollect’s ‘mindful moment’ event will bring together four experts on these subjects to speak at Habitat’s King’s Road Platform space in central London.

So, who’s speaking?

Co-founder of OLIO — an app that connects neighbours with one another and local shops to share surplus food, and reduce waste — Saasha Celestial-One will share advice for reducing food waste.

Maria Stone — a slow living a waste-free living advocate who runs workshops — will provide insights on conscious sustainable living.

Happiness consultant Samantha Clarke will give listeners practical and simple tips for boosting their happiness every day.

Autumn Totton from The Mindfulness Project — a London-based centre that teaches meaningful meditation and mindfulness — will make meditation more accessible and relatable busy people.

Share A Mindful Moment with Khoollect on Thursday 2 February, 2017. The evening will begin at 7.00pm (with the talks commencing at 7.15pm), running until 9.15pm. Limited spaces are available via EventBrite, at £5 a ticket, and profits will be donated to Mind, the mental health charity.

Location: Habitat, 208 King’s Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 5XP

Team Khoollect hopes to see you there!

  1. Hi Rachel,
This is a great idea and I am very happy to see the initiative you are taking on mindfulness.

Is there any plan to record event segments to then share with us who don’t live in the London area?

Thanks so much for the post and for all of the great content on your site!

    Laura
