Since eating a tomato in Umbria, Frankie Unsworth’s life has never been the same. After three years as food editor on Taste Italia magazine and studying at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Frankie put her whites where her mouth was and joined Nuno Mendes in his Loft kitchen in London. A passion for pastry and Paris united her with Rachel, where they indulged in lots of foodie fun. Since September she has been beached at Bondi, writing about design for a Surry Hills - based publishing house.
With an unconventional « food » background Rachel adds an unique touch to her work. She graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London with a Bachelors degree in Art & Design. After working for a luxury fashion brand doing PR and E-marketing she followed her passion for Pâtisserie to Paris where she studied at Le Cordon Bleu. She now mixes her “tasty” skills with her Art background to create original culinary events across Europe aswell as other culinary projects. Her first cookery book will be published by Marabout in January 2010.
