After a mundane day of paperwork I had a craving for this: Mac ‘n cheese (made with mature cumin Gouda bought in Amsterdam this weekend) with a tomato and mustard leaf salad.

Mmmmmm…. currently staying with a friend in den Haag and his local cheese monger has cumin spiced cheese…. I’m glad we visited the Netherlands while your show was on BBC, got to see all of it and we bought the cookbook to take back to the US with us. Loved the program and will be posting images and reviews of the book… thanks hope it’s not your only book… the prune, goats cheese and pistachio bread came out heavenly…..
I read about you in the dutch Jamie Oliver magazine and i was totaly in love, haha. Today i watched all of the episodes of your TVshow and tonight i go watch it “live” on BCC TWO. Your cookbook is on my to-buy list.
Have had your book for a week now, eaten out of nearly every night, it’s fabulous.
