Sweet treats to impress

It's so handy to have a long list of favourite afternoon tea recipes at the ready when you're preparing to entertain friends or visitors, or when you just want a sneaky little something to indulge in yourself. Despite the fact that I rarely have guests over during weekdays, I will happily admit that I'm more than a bit partial to the odd treat after dinner when I'm chilled out in front of the television.

So, I've put together a list of some of my favourite sweet treat recipes that I think you'll find easy to bake using simple-to-source ingredients ... and that look rather impressive when served with a good ol' fashioned cuppa English Breakfast. Enjoy!
