Summer sunshine

<h1 class="h1">Bonjour à tous,

As I bid au revoir to summer, I am savouring the chance to look back over the past month’s adventures. From Wales to Sweden, with a few flying visits to Paris and beyond, I have thoroughly enjoyed a busy August, infused with wanderlust. Looking ahead, I’m heading off on adventure over the next few months to work on lots of exciting projects, and am looking forward to a busy lead up to the festive season. Swimming in Sweden vs swimming in Paris.

Back in Paris of late, Parisians either escaped the city’s heat for a beachside holiday, or made the most of the smorgasbord of summertime events that popped up all over the city. Some of my favourite outings in summery Paris included a leisurely trip to Versailles and a picnic at the open-air cinema.

I’m so excited to reveal exciting new projects in the coming months (some non-Little Paris Kitchen related). You’ll just have to wait a little longer, mes amis! I’ve been preparing and testing lots of new recipes, some of which will be published in the UK over the next four months (including some festive treats for Christmas!) Although it feels totally out-of-season to be thinking that far in advance!

Also this month, my television episodes started airing in New Zealand and Hong Kong. We are a global community indeed. On the blog front, my regular columns have featured the wonderfully artistic Sam Peach on Quizzing the Creatives, tomatoes took a starring role as my ingredient of the month, and my bits and bobs from the web and beyond included some inspiring finds! To welcome each new week I will also be sharing my Monday Musings as a new regular feature. Who said fun has to stop when the weekend ends? You’re always welcome to say bonjour via twitter, comments on my blog and Facebook – I love hearing from you.Ciao for now les amis,
