Salmon, you’re my ingredient of the month this May! I have to say that right now is absolutely the best time of year to get your hands on the freshest salmon around. Whether you plan on grilling it on the barbecue, tossing it through a salad, or adding to a baked dish topped with cheese – you can be quite confident that you’ll be able to whip up a simple and delicious dish with good-quality salmon. My tip? Keep it simple and let the flavour do the talking.

My latest recipe in my Evening Standard column combines my favourite Japanese condiments with a French touch — Dijon mustard. Try out my Miso salmon and sesame soba noodles here. Bon appétit!

This week I headed back to Provence to work on the final shoot for my new book! The team and I are shooting around Marseille, Avignon and Cucuron. Such a lovely part of the world. Catch me on Instagram for some snapshots of our adventures in the South of France

Will you be cooking this Food Revolution Day? Now, normally I don’t ever need an excuse to cook for friends (or with friends – or to eat food made by my friends!), but Food Revolution Day is the perfect opportunity to organise a get-together and celebrate all things food.

I’m visiting Leiths School of Food and Wine in London for a special workshop on Saturday October 26. We’ll be cooking recipes from my new book (coming out this autumn). The one-day workshop will focus on some of my favourite regional French cuisine, inspired by my recent travels in France. I’ll be sharing plenty of tips along the way too

In springtime, my little Paris kitchen takes a big sigh of relief, and comes alive with little signs of spring. Bunches of flowers, grocery bags full of fresh market goodies, and the odd tub of ice-cream all start making their way into my apartment
, as well as some new additions to my window box garden. Whilst we may not have heaps of space here in Paris, people make do with what they’ve got, and cultivate little green spaces in their homes – and at their windows.
