Last couple of days at Fäviken
Moose kebab
The last couple of days at Fäviken I spent making moose kebab for the hungry vistors of Fäviken game fair, a highlight in the yearly calender of the locals (and apparently one of the best/largest game fairs in Sweden).
Rory, one of the chefs was loving his new toy a.k.a. our mode of food transportation.
We sold 1900 moose kebabs in two days. Let's just say I don't think I'll ever look at a kebab in the same way or actually want to eat one.
Our moose kebab tent. I was put on saucing and meat serving duties.
A view of part of the Fäviken game fair.
Grated carrot salad quenelles. Making them is not as easy as you think.
Later on it was back in the kitchen as we had a dinner of 52 people to do. Plenty of prep. Surprise! Surprise!
My last day finished with a couple of typical Swedish traditions: a hot dog with Johnny's sweet mustard and a dance to Sweden's biggest rock band (no, not Abba) Sven Ingvars.
Watching Sven Ingvars and the Swedish crowd.
