My Snapshots… Springing forward into March
Hello! The past few weeks have flown by – how did we get to March? British Summer Time makes headway this month, which means there’s a little bit more daylight and daffodils to look forward to. During February, I’ve had loads of fun planning projects with the Khoollect team and also been getting hands-on as an Editor-in-Chief. Here are some of my highlights…
I couldn’t help but feel glamorous in this Lena Hoschek dress, which I wore to the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera) ball in Vienna.
The sunshine and I needed to be reacquainted so I decided on a rare trip away to the Bahamas. Down time is great for creativity (and the view wasn’t too bad either!).
Then there was my debut appearance as a guest judge on Australia’s popular show, My Kitchen Rules. I had so much fun filming it alongside the ever-so-charming chef, Colin Fassnidge. (Some of you have been asking about the wardrobe and lipsticks I wear on the show – you can find details on the Khoollect website.)
There were amazing smells coming from the Khoollect HQ kitchen when pastry chef Helen Vass came in for the day to bake some heavenly-tasting mini lemon bundts. Smell-o-vision hasn’t quite been perfected yet, so you’ll just have to make them at home. Good thing the recipe’s up over on Khoollect!
I’m really enjoying sharing meal ideas from Kitchen Notebook and there’s been such a great response to the book. My ‘peeping mushroom pasta,’ photographed so beautifully by David Loftus, was a particular favourite amongst those of you who follow me on Instagram.
As always, I enjoy reading your comments. And please do follow Khoollect over on Instagram to go behind the scenes and catch a glimpse of what the team is up to.
