The Little Swedish Kitchen: Day One
You might have seen on Instagram, or in last month’s newsletter, that I’ve been busy in the kitchen lately, whipping up recipes and testing out ideas for cookbook no. 6.
Back in the studio (this time in Stockholm) with my incredibly talented team – photographer David Loftus, food stylist Frankie Unsworth, prop stylist Linda Berlin, Art director John Hamilton and editor Ione Walder – we set to work on day 1 of shooting.
Starting the day in the most Swedish way, we had our first fika while we planned the shoot list – lots to squeeze in and different locations to explore. We tackled loads of buns, a picnic by the water with a delicious blueberry soup (trust me, it’s better than it sounds! ;)) and even managed to squeeze in a visit to one of my favourite Stockholm bakeries Robin Delselius.
One of my favourite parts of shooting a cookbook is the prop selection and Linda did not disappoint! I love the mix of eclectic pieces and my favourite shade of green.
Be sure to follow along with my Swedish adventures over on Instagram!

We loved to have you in our kitchen studio, welcome back! 💚
Looking forward to some Swedish recipes! How many “kitchens” do you have? Or have you moved to Sweden? I thought you lived in London…
Hello,
I began watching you on the GUSTO channel and I was hooked. I just love the way you relate to people and food. It is almost like you have this little secret that you cant wait to share with all of us.
I just ordered your Kitchen Notebook and I am so looking forward to receiving it.
Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us.
