Rhubarb Monday Musings

modernwifestyle's rhubarb syrup

Anyone who has watched my almond pudding YouTube video, or read about my custard millefeuilles in Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook, will know that I am very fond of rhubarb. With rhubarb season in full swing, I’ve been spotting some interesting uses for the stuff – some of which I am very keen to try out! Let me know if you’ve had a go at any of the following, I’d love to hear how they turned out.

*This syrup by Katrín looks so inviting. Such a vibrant colour!

*Ikea’s kitchen of the future has some fantastic concepts – I love the focus on waste reduction.

*Lara’s Rhubarb bars look like they’d make the most delicious afternoon snack. A rhubarb curd and puree on a bed of shortbread, yum!

*What a fab transformation of abandoned space.

* A final rhubarb-themed musing to conclude this week’s Monday post – Brit & Co have gathered 20 great recipes – there’s something here for everyone on this list.
