My workshop in Warsaw

Last month I had a flying visit to Warsaw. It was my first visit to the city, and I loved exploring a totally new place. Here are some behind the scenes snapshots from my BBC Lifestyle cooking workshop, as part of the launch of my new television show ‘Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook’.

The decorations were gorgeous – so nice and fresh for springtime. Thanks to the team for doing such a great job getting everything ready.

The day was jam-packed with the two workshops and plenty of interviews. I demoed two recipes from the new series (you can visit the Polish site with details about the show here): Smorgåstårta (savoury Swedish cake) and Goat’s Cheese Cigars with a simple endive and blood orange salad. There were no idle hands to be seen, as the participants had to then make the recipes themselves.

Here are some snapshots of the finished products. Nice work to all who participated 🙂

  1. I absolutely LOVE your new show! Can’t wait to see the Warsaw episode (I’m Polish, as u may guess :-)). Do you know when the Polish edition of your latest book is coming out? I fell in love with Little Paris Kitchen, and I’m sure it’ll be the same with ‘My little French kitchen’ 🙂 Can hardly wait!

  2. Don(t take this the wrong way! But i believe that you have so much
more in your game than culinary events, which are great, for sure!

I just believe that you have alot more to offer!
Ever thought of becoming an actrice? It takes practice for some, but
your appearence brings you a long way ahead!

Let me know when you come to “flanders” area, ok? 🙂
