Makeup picks from Zumbo's Just Desserts

What an exciting week it's been with my latest television show Zumbo's Just Desserts kicking off in Australia. You may remember a few months ago I travelled to Sydney to film a 'top secret' new project - well, this is it. I'm co-hosting Zumbo's with well known Australian pâtissier Adriano Zumbo, and together we put amateur dessert cooks to the test and challenge their abilities to find the best and brightest patisserie stars that Aussie has to offer.

Unfortunately, if you're located outside Australia you won't be able to tune in (sorry!), however, I'm going to keep you up-to-date with lots of interesting details from the show ... including what makeup I used, a breakdown of the fun and colourful fashion choices selected for each episode of the show, and a few behind-the-scenes snaps from filming with Adriano and his assistant GiGi.

First up: makeup picks from the show.

As many of you already know, I usually take care of my own hair and makeup for photoshoots, press appearances and interviews. This involves a quick up-do or straightening my hair, layering on a bit of makeup to achieve better coverage (I usually wear very minimal), and of course applying a generous slick of my signature bright pink or red lipstick.

However, when I'm on-set for a television shoot it's always a luxury to have a dedicated hair and makeup team look after me. Let me tell you, this is such a blessing when you're working 13 hour (plus) days and need regular touchups after snoozing on a chair in the corner of the set!

Zumbo's head of hair and makeup Lisa Soames loves using Bobbi Brown products. Lisa is an absolute pro at her job and I always feel safe in her hands and 100% trust her colour choices for me. Her makeup picks for the show include:

Concealer – Bobbi Brown creamy concealer in beige.

Foundation – Bobbi Brown skin foundation SPF 15 in Natural (#4).

Lipstick – Bobbi Brown luxe lip colour in Parisian Red (#A55 28) AND Russian Doll (#A55 25).

Blush – Bobbi Brown in Clementine (#46) AND Poppy (#19)

These products are high quality and provide great coverage, making them ideal for television and photoshoots. However, for those of you at home who are simply looking to update your beauty regime, these products are also more than appropriate for everyday wear.
