Et lite kjøkken i Paris - Norwegian booklaunch of The Little Paris Kitchen in Oslo

After a couple of days in Hamburg it was straight off to Oslo for the Norwegian launch of the Little Paris Kitchen book "Et lite kjøkken i Paris".

First stop was to Norway's TV2 breakfast show, "God Morgen Norge". A chocolate fondant demo (recipe in Norwegian here) later I was off to do various interviews.

Later that afternoon the publishers cantine was converted into a dining room for 160. Kjartan Skjelde, Norwegian chef, cookbook author and TV presenter was plating a delicious Norwegian Salmon starter.

I had eaten at the night before (amazing Thai food with Norwegian touches and ingredients) was serving a spicy Thai duck curry. And I was up last with my chocolate fondant with a salted caramel centre. Not an easy task when you have a 160 to serve.

Frankie busy plating 160 desserts with some help with two of the chefs.

The following day I had a glimpse of Scandanavian sunshine at the Matstreif food festival set next to Oslo's harbour. Lots of delicious Norwegian produce to taste!

Northern European book tour to be continued in....Copenhagen tomorrow. More to follow!
