La Petite Cuisine à Paris (The Little Paris Kitchen in French) book launch

“La petite cuisine à Paris” fresh off the press at La Cocotte

It’s a wrap! Great to meet lots of friendly faces at the book launch events  for the French version of LPK in Paris last week at La Cocotte and Colette. Bienvenue “La petite cuisine à Paris”! (published by Hachette Pratique on the 17.10.12). Probably the most daunting of all launches, considering I’m English and have written a book on French cuisine. Fingers crossed the French will like it!

Here’s a recap of the launch and book signing events. Book signing at my favourite culinary store in Paris, La Cocotte:

Lots of Christmas gift ideas in the window at La Cocotte

Great to meet you all!

Crème pâtissière and salade niçoise were on the menu at the cooking class cooklette @ Colette last week, downstairs at the Water Bar.

Check out Colette’s flashback for more photos (cooklette #31).

Book is available to purchase here and most bookshops.

  1. I would like to buy a signed copy of the French version of The Little Paris Kitchen for a young friend of mine who is moving to France to study French at the University of Paris next year. I would be very grateful if you could let me know where I might be able to get hold of one. Many thanks. Joan Hammell

  2. Are there any French websites that provide online shopping for raclettes and other French culinary tools? especially crockery…
    Thanks in advance!

  3. Dear Rachel, I’ve got your book in my Nook ereader, I am very happy because all of your recipes work as you show in your texts! Keep up your good work! Kisses from Chile, hugs!
