While I was in Japan last month I filmed a NHK special exploring the amazing region of Yamanashi. Well known for it’s excellent produce, like persimmons aswell as wine. I also met a third generation farmer who uses her produce to make a whole array of pickles, fermented vegetables and a dozen other delicious delicacies. I finish my short trip, cooking with local ingredients in a stunning kitchen with a view on Mount Fuji. Very hard to beat!
