Behind the scenes: The Big Feastival

The people you bump into in The Cotswolds...

Over the weekend I headed to The Cotswolds to join in the fun at The Big Feastival. Here are some behind the scenes shots from the event. It was the perfect mix of good fun, a whole bunch of cool music and great food (and some sunny skies)! Thanks to the team for having me, I had a fabulous time.

Nice to meet some of you during my Q&A at the Table Sessions hosted by John Quilter!

I cooked a recipe from my new book My Little French Kitchen (coming out in October). I whipped up a savoury Paris brest (Choux pastry ring filled with brie, baby spinach, thinly sliced apple and a mustard mousse).

The weather was great. It was fab to visit lots of different food stands, and to taste and try different local foods. From jams and cheeses to sweets and wine, there was plenty to choose from.

Congratulations to Jamie Oliver and Alex James (who presented The Big Feastival), and all who were involved in setting up the site, and organising the program. It was certainly a fun end to the summer festival season.

I managed to catch Lianne La Havas. Who were your highlights from the festival? All in all, a fun day out in the Cotswold countryside!
