Christmas ideas for Francophiles
Joyeux Noël! Here are my Christmas gift ideas for those who have fallen head of heels for French life.

* Cute Christmas cookies always rate high on my gift list. How sweet is this Eiffel tower cookie cutter? Great tutorial on how to decorate them here.
* Full of genuinely cool places to check out in Paris, the GoGo Paris iPhone/iPad app and printed guide is a must for Francophiles travelling to the City of Lights (aswell as my list ;-)). It features alternative, local hangouts, is an up-to-date guide to all the best places to track down (I have a GoGo Paris Christmas Giveaway on my blog!).

* After indulging in a Christmas feast, there's nothing better than to sit down and watch a good movie. One of my favourite Frenchie flicks is
(
L'arnacoeur
). This charming (minus the cheesy American voiceover in the trailer) rom-com captures French
je ne sais quoi
at its best. Find the DVD
.
* A witty, anecdotal and totally spot-on account of life in Paris, Dessine moi un parisien is my go-to gift for those craving a slice of Parisian charm.
For other book ideas check out my book reviews here.
* Aren't these just the cutest tea towels ever? I think they'd make any kitchen look good.
* An iconic blue and white Marinière top in soft heavy jersey fabric that is chic and comfy at the same time. Definitely a winning combo!
* The perfect little stocking filler: soap from Marseille.

* Or why not gift somebody with some chic homemade Parisian "Boules de Noël"?
