COVER REVEAL: The Little Swedish Kitchen
Ta-dah! Here it is – the cover of my next cookbook, The Little Swedish Kitchen. I do hope you like it. It certainly wasn't an easy job designing this cover. With David Loftus shooting the cookbook there were plenty of beautiful portraits to pick from. It took a lot of deliberating before I settled on this photo, along with careful considerations on which font, colour, paper stock, and stamping (this can't be seen on the photo) to use.
Don't be fooled by the photo of me prepping radishes – this cookbook is certainly not about scandi raw food. The back cover reveals just a few of the delicious dishes that are packed inside the pages. There are also two testimonials from the lovely Donal Skehan and Melissa Hemsley (tack så mycket!). Designing the back cover was almost as time consuming as the front, and it was a huge challenge to pick recipes and photos that captures the essence of the book. I spent days agonising over which ones to choose. It helped that close family and my fantastic publishing team were on hand to offer up their opinion; it's always good to have plenty of sets of eyes on-hand.
